What are the considerations of choosing a movie? We can have all kind reasons not to watch a movie but I hope you won’t ignore a movie just because of the race .Otherwise; you may miss lots of movie which are worth watching.
Previous few past decades, people didn’t like watching movies of other ethnicity. And that may actually attribute the consequence –non –white actors were rarely permitted to play leading roles in Hollywood films. That is kind of unfair indeed. Today we recognize the even though human beings comes in all shapes, sizes and colors , all of us are basically the same on the cellular and genetic level .( This is my favorite sentence in chapter 3 –race ) So ,actors should not be divided into group by that way instead of acting skills or their talents.
However, people become open – minded as time goes by. Meanwhile, the gap between different races seems to be narrowed. We can find movies with actor and different races.
It talks about a promising dancer (Sara Johnson ) gave up ballet due to guilty after the fatal car accident of her mum . And then ,she moved to a small town in Chicago where is full of Blacks .But inside the school , she made friends with different races and met the guy she liked . Regardless of peoples'dispproving , they stay together finally and she find back the spark of dancing.They share the culture of dance and find the fire of love.
It is a french action movie .This film is about Statham ,whose job is to deliver packages without asking any questions. However , the complications appeared once he opened the packages . He saved the asian girl and then fell in love with her via adventures .
There is also another recent movie which is consisted of actors of different race .
The blind side (2009 )
It is based on a real story.The film is about a woman Leigh Anne , lend a helping hand to a homeless 17 -year -old boy ,Michael.With Anne's selfishless care and useful help , Michael found his own strengths and talents .He joined the football team and finally got accepted by University .Its spreads an inspiring message.
Nowadays, race is not a tatoo inside a movie anymore .People find that they are more acceptable more than before.Sometimes ,from my perspective , it seems like a kind of cultural exchange .It fills up the colors of movie .And in the reality , we can find people of different races in a city like Seattle ,it likes the composite of cultures and fusing them all together without borders. Dont pick on race and it only limits on your choices of movies , friends or learning.

I like your view on racial disparity in choices of media and in life. I think most people wouldn't notice, let alone admit that they make small changes in decisions based on racial comfort. It can be hard sometimes to let go of predispositions and stereotypes ingrained by media and sometimes even our family and friends. It's only by passing through these barriers we can truly connect to someone on a deeper level than the color of their skin. We all are of one race: The Human Race. :)
